It's nice to have another weekend without too many commitments so I can have a little break from my crazy life! By the way, Carly, after spending the summer with Evan, I've started saying, "I need a little break." Anyway, life has been slowing down for me just a little, fortunately, and should be getting better after tomorrow. Tomorrow my application for the Washington Seminar is due, and I'm almost done! If I get in, I'll apply to a bunch of different internships in D.C. and head there next summer. I've been thinking of a few, and the ones at the top of my list are LDS International Public Affairs, Youth Services America, and the National Military Family Association. It will be really nice to have that application finished!
Tonight was our first big ward activity, which was kind of a big deal for me as a member of the activities committee. We just did a Halloween dance party and I think it was a hit, so that was nice, and made it worth the last-minute stress. I'll try to get some pictures from my roommate to put up here soon.
Tomorrow night is Dining Out, the military ball/dinner that the Air Force ROTC does every semester. I'm going with my boyfriend, Jon. I haven't been to a formal dance since high school, and never with someone I was dating, so this will be new for me! I'll try to include pictures from that, too. When my roommates and I were at Wal-Mart today we ran into a couple of Air Force cadets in their camouflage outfits...they were having trouble finding the hairspray, so we helped them out :).
Hmm...I really can't think of anything else new right now. If anyone tried looking up articles, I'm sorry if it didn't work. I'm not sure why it's not available anymore, but if you were really, really interested in reading them, you can go to newsnet.byu.edu and just search "Abigail Rich." That way, you can see them in their actual format, too.
Life is great, for the most part, and college is wonderful!
