Adri's Wedding

The first of our freshman roommates was married in the Mesa temple this weekend. It was the first time I had been closely involved in a wedding of a friend rather than family member. It was a lot of work, but so much fun. Two of our other roommates (there were six total), Jamie and TyRee flew into town for the event, and the three of us were bridesmaids. That meant we got to spend a lot of time with the bride on the last of her single days, do her hair and nails, and offer moral support, among other things. We took her out to lunch and gave her presents, and the night before the wedding, we all stayed in the hotel room together. It was like being roommates again for one night. Of course, we also got to dress up and be in some pictures with her. Adri had me a little worried about the dresses at first (she definitely didn't talk them up for us), but they actually looked really good! Fortunately, she didn't make us stand in a greeting line with her at the reception, but that meant we ended up spending most of that time eating the reception food and taking pictures on our own cameras, as well as on the disposable ones they left on each table for the guests to help capture their memories (she'll definitely won't be able to forget us!). Here are some of the pictures:
