-I turned 21!!!! My roommmates and I got non-alcoholic drinks at Spark (the Mormon way). Kayley took me out for ice cream, as did my friend, Eric. Jamie made this lovely blog post for me.
-The swine flu is being a life-interrupter. Well, mostly only at the MTC. They told us to "volunteer at your own risk." My roommate has benefited though, as her class was canceled this morning due to the fact that her classmate's roommate was diagnosed with the swine flu.
-Our new ward is fabulous and our bishop is even better. Seriously, I LOVE him.
-My roommates are planning a road trip to California for the end of June. I'm still trying to decide if I'm going or not. If so, I would have to drop my Latin dance class, which I REALLY want to take.
-The other day I ran 9 1/2 miles! I signed up for a 10-mile run so I've been training and I've discovered I actually like running even more than I thought I did.
-Joey and Katie have been in Peru for the past month. I miss them but I have been enjoying their car!
-One of my best friends got home from his mission on my birthday and I got to talk to him soon after he got home, which was awesome! He'll be here in just a couple more weeks.
-On the other hand...TyRee is leaving on her mission on June 24. That will definitely be bittersweet for me.

And is Swine Flu really that bad? I wouldn't know, being out of the states does that to you.
