Today I thought I'd do one of those updates on my life.
--I got to go home for Christmas and see most of the family, which was great! I went with my friend Amanda to a concert in Los Angeles and at the Walt Disney concert hall. Little did we know we were in for a treat...the concert was all about the history of Yiddish theater! We weren't sure what it was ahead of time, so that was an interesting experience :). Then we stayed the night in a Moroccan hotel in LA. Here is a picture of the view from our hotel:
--I got to see a lot of my friends from home, and some of my guy friends who I haven't seen in two years since they've been gone on missions. Kellie, Allison, and I took a traditional trip down to Newport Beach to play in the sand, take pictures, ride the ferris wheel in the fun zone, and eat pizookies at BJ's! It was a beautiful clear and warm day.
--We have a new roommate! She's from Taiwan, so now we have two international students in our apartment (another roommate is from France), so that's way cool.
--Classes have been going great so far! I think I'll really like them this semester. I'm taking Current Events again, which I took last winter and I loved it. It's just a pass/fail one-credit class, so it doesn't require much work, but you learn a lot and stay caught up on the important current events. I'm also really excited about my Teachings of the Living Prophets class, Masterpieces of English literature, and Public Relations Writing and Productivity. For that class we work with a non-profit organization throughout the semester and get to do some real PR work!

Thanks for the update on our life and the pictures!
Do you get to choose which nonprofit you will be working with? or do they pick for you? If you get to pick, and are interested, I can ask the director if you can use our school, as it is a non-profit. It is a school for kids aged 3-12 with ASDs (Autism Spectrum Disorders). :)
Abby your hair is so cute!!! i miss you!
