Car Flirting
Today when I was driving by myself, a guy who was about my age was sitting in the back of the car next to me. He caught my eye because he had his window rolled down and was making all sorts of hand signals to let me know he wanted my phone number. Then I noticed the car was full of cute guys! Trying not to be too distracted from the road, I quickly thought through all my options. I looked over and laughed a couple times because I actually thought it was pretty cute and I was flattered, of course! It was typical teenage car flirting...and even though I'm 20 now, it's still fun! They looked like clean-cut, nice kids, but looks can be deceiving! When we pulled up next to each other at the stop light, I rolled down my window to talk to them. They asked where I was going and I told them, but then the light turned green! The guy in the back was like, "quick, just give me your number!" I was about to, but hesitated, thought about it, and rolled up my window because a. I didn't want to get in a car accident, and b. it seems that every time I've randomly given my number to a stranger, they end up calling to see if I want to come drinking with them. First of all, I don't drink and second of all, I don't think that would impress me at all anyway! So I always end up getting excited just to have my hopes shattered. A few minutes later I kind of regretted it. Maybe I should have given them the benefit of a doubt. After all, it's not like you have to call them back.

Cute boys asking for phone numbers! Maybe next time the light won't turn green so quickly. You never know when someone else might not drink . . .
You made the right decision. A car full of boys wanting to drink....probably not good dating material.
Abby!!! Yay for blogs! Car flirting is a good time. So are you in Arizona still?
That's funny. I remember a guy in my major at BYU told me once that's how he met his wife--car flirting. He was kinda embarassed about it, but I thought it was funny. They flirted in their cars all the way down to St. George, then he got her #, and the rest is history! :) I'm sure you don't need car flirting to meet your man, though.
you should've just done it...that reminds me when those high school boys picked up on us driving to the halloween party...oh wait...you were doing hw
